Move and Minimize the Marker.io Widget/Button
Gary Gaspar
Feature Overview
- Let users move the widget buttonto another spot on the page.
- Add an option to hide or minimize the widgetwhen it's in the way.
Use Case
- Sometimes the widget covers important parts of the app, making it hard (or impossible) to use or test those areas.
- Being able to drag the button somewhere else or just temporarily hide it would make things easier during testing.

Hi All,
We understand that the widget can sometimes get in the way during testing.
Right now, you can manually move the button to a few preset spots (bottom left, bottom center, bottom right, middle left, middle right) and reduce its size by editing or removing the label text. Settings are available under Project Settings > Widget > Button.
For example, see image attached placing it in the bottom left without text can make it less intrusive, especially if your team already knows it’s for feedback.
That said, we’ve added full drag-and-drop and hiding options to our roadmap for a future update.
Appreciate your input,
Joe

Ability for Users to move Button
Christine M Fowkes
It would be nice if a user could move (drag to a new location) the Widget Button to a different location on the screen. There are times when the Button is over what the User is trying to interact with / test which makes it impossible to continue with what they are doing.
